About Ryan Legg
For more than 20 years, Ryan has partnered with hundreds of innovators and entrepreneurs to drive meaningful, positive change. He is dedicated to helping people discover their strengths, grow through action and reflection, and create a better future for themselves and their communities. Ryan is energized by supporting those who are actively working to improve the world around them.
Ryan is a committed partner, an engaged facilitator, and a steady team captain. His work is grounded in a vision of a more prosperous, dynamic, and connected world. Over the course of his career, he has been a social entrepreneur, a builder, and a product manager.
His path began on construction sites, working alongside his father and the Prostruct team. He went on to become a civil engineer leading complex infrastructure projects for the DOT. Ryan later served as the global operations lead for Engineers for a Sustainable World, launching innovation initiatives in collaboration with Fortune 500 companies and universities across the U.S.
At GE’s Renewable Energy Leadership Program, he helped bring new technologies to market by leading wind product development and onshore blade innovation—work that continues to create a positive impact today.
Ryan has partnered with leaders across for-profit and nonprofit organizations to build coalitions, bring first-of-a-kind ideas to life, and scale solutions for global impact. He excels at creating strategic alliances that focus teams, unlock value, and accelerate meaningful outcomes for stakeholders.
Ryan holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University, where he was a member of the Chi Epsilon Honor Society, and an MBA from the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University with a focus on Sustainable Global Enterprise.
He lives in Troy, NY with his wife, two children, and their puppy.
